The cottage property is predominantly level with several look-outs, charming, wooded pathways and various sitting and hammock areas with beautiful, long lake views. This is a very private and restorative environment; it encompasses almost 2 acres of the end of an island with an extraordinary 825’ of waterfront, allowing 270° lake views. The large south-facing beach area at the main docks has a hard-packed sandy bottom and a gradual entry. Great child-friendly swimming and leisurely adult wading!
The cottage is one minute by boat from private docks and a private parking area. The short boat ride to the cottage from the small protected bay always gives rise to feelings of a northern get-away holiday truly beginning. The pontoon boat (for those with a boat license) is available for your enjoyment with the cottage rental.
The well-equipped kitchen, with stove, fridge, dishwasher and microwave has all the other high-quality smaller appliances that you enjoy at home such as: a four-slice toaster, a vita-mixer/blender, coffee maker, crock pot and electric griddle.
The kitchen opens up to a generous living area with a large antique dining table, which comfortably seats everyone. Added to this are leather sofas, a fireplace to keep you warm on summer evenings and extensive windows with wonderful views down the length of the lake.
An important element to enjoyment of a holiday beyond relaxation is good, restorative sleep. Each of the five bedrooms has newer, high-end, luxury mattresses (most from the Marshall Mattress Co.) so that climbing into bed is a pleasure. Each of the 3 larger bedrooms has a queen bed. One of the smaller bedrooms has bunk beds, and the other has a double bed.
Please note: the beds in the cottage accommodate 10 guests.
There are 2 full bathrooms. One is a double ensuite bathroom off the master bedroom and the other is a 3-piece bathroom (with shower).

Renters will need to bring their own bed linen and towels.
With 825’ of lakefront, towering white pines and a multitude of lake views, you’ll enjoy walks on charming trails to many of your favourite spots on the property.
For children this place is heaven. There’s lots of room to run, various spots to explore, a bunkie to play in (and perhaps have an overnight using its two single beds) and the beautiful, extensive sandy beach/shoreline area. A new treehouse set amongst a wooded area overlooks the lake.
The water quality and clarity of the lake is exceptional with its water source coming from pristine rivers near the Algonquin Park area. The swimming is great at the south-facing beach area beside the main docks with shallow, sparkling-clear water, a shore with hard-packed sand underfoot, so you can wade out gradually with great comfort. Or dive off the dock straight into deeper water. This area of the property is a great spot to launch either the adult and kids kayaks or the canoe for a simple, quiet morning paddle or to explore parts of the lake.
Then just relax on the main docks with your morning coffee on the teak loungers. A small shoreline shed containing a bar fridge is on the dock, so your cold drinks, along with all waterfront equipment like life jackets, kids’ kayaks, noodles and the fishing rods are always right at hand.
The hammocks at three different spots, which have wonderful lake views and lake breezes will be favourite destinations for a nap or sinking into a good book.
This traditional Muskoka/Haliburton- style wood-siding cottage has two exterior decks and faces down the length of the lake.
